This song by the late Israel Kamakawiwo’ole keeps coming back to me; first in Fifty First Dates, then last year my SIL sent me a copy of it and the other night it was at the end of Life On Mars. It is so sweet and sad and I am wearing out my ipod playing it at the moment. Must be a hormonal thing. Enjoy.
Thank you for this, yes it is sweet/sad because it acknowledges the world isn’t the way it should be, but gives thanks because it is still beautiful.
I’ve only heard the little bit of it they include in Fifty First Dates. It really is a beautiful version of the song.
