baby rose

 Look what I found in my window box!  I am still moving in…the first thing I have done is put some miniature roses on my big window sills. I love to sit at them and breathe in their scent as I look over the manor grounds and beyond. It seems as if this little fellow has moved in and made himself comfy in the roses! I think he may have strayed from the Enchanted Wood but he doesn’t appear to be the least bit perturbed.  He sleeps snug and content in his cocoon of petals and giggles when the odd butterfly lands and tickles his nose. I’m just waiting for the little Sleeping Beauty to rouse.When he wakes up I will endeavour to return him to his home.  In the meantime he is welcome to snooze away as I have lots of unpacking and planning to do.
